Seeking new inspiration in a city renowned for its rich music heritage, Joshua Dylan Balis made the move to Nashville where he’s learned a lot. He was raised in Dallas on a steady diet of music that his father Danny Balis (Bastards of Soul bassist, and Dallas radio personality) thought he should be exposed to, and has combined those influences with other sounds he’s been drawn towards through the years to create his debut full-length album. “We’re On Fire” highlights his soaring vocal range and impressive songwriting that pulls from his personal experiences, with a sound that crosses somewhere between alternative, Americana and folk.
