The Final Girl – a Premiere from Chris J. Norwood

“Our friends at State Fair Records are gearing up for a great Friday celebration.  Yesterday we premiered the latest single from John Pedigo’s Magic Pilsner and today we are back to premiere the new single from Chris J. Norwood.  Both tracks will be released tomorrow on, you guessed it, State Fair Records. 

Although we recently heard from Norwood via a cover of the Old 97’s “Niteclub”, this is his first new solo music since 2017’s outstanding Longshot.  It’s a welcome return.  “The Final Girl” is an insistent rocker chock full of slashing guitars and a rousing chorus.  It’s a fine taste of what’s to come when he releases his next full length album in 2021.”
